Genting Hotel opened in 2015 as part of Resorts World Birmingham on the NEC campus. Today it offers around 180 rooms and suites across a four-star property linked to the casino, shops and restaurants next door. Rates change with dates and demand — check current prices and availability on the hotel’s own website or by calling reception.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in starts from 3pm. Check-out is until 11am. Late check-out may be available for £15 per hour after that, subject to availability — the hotel notes this option is not offered for suites or deluxe double rooms. Early check-in is also subject to availability and needs to be arranged with reception.

Santai Spa & Leisure Club

Santai Spa sits on the second floor and includes a pool, treatment rooms and a gym available to hotel guests 24 hours a day. Spa access for hotel guests is typically included for about 1 hour 30 minutes, from 3pm to 9.45pm on arrival day and 7am to 10am on departure day (subject to availability; last entry 9pm). All spa areas including the pool are 18+ only. The outdoor hot tub is closed for cleaning on Tuesday and Friday mornings until 10am. Treatments are bookable directly with Santai Spa.

Wi-Fi and house rules

• Free Wi-Fi throughout Resorts World via the “Resorts World” network
• Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the hotel; designated areas exist in the casino, Sky Bar & Restaurant and outside the building
• A minimum £150 cleaning charge applies if the no-smoking/vaping rule is broken
• Breakfast is served in Sky Bar & Restaurant, 6.30am–10am weekdays and 7am–10.30am at weekends, with brunch following until 1pm
• Hotel guests receive 10% off food and drink at Sky Bar & Restaurant during their stay

Breakfast can be added through reception if it isn’t already included in your rate.
