Opening hours
The casino is open daily from 11am to 5am. Live table games start from 1pm; earlier in the day you’ll find machines and electronic terminals. Hours can change around holidays, so it’s worth a quick check on the casino’s own page before you set out.
Age, ID and entry
The gaming floor is strictly 18+. Genting runs Challenge 25: anyone who appears under 25 will be asked for valid photo ID. No membership is needed to visit — this is an open-door casino — though you can join My Genting once inside for member offers and promotions.
- 18+ only on the casino floor; hotel, spa and restaurants are open to all ages (spa facilities themselves are 18+)
- Bring photo ID if you might be asked to prove your age
- No membership needed to walk in and play
- My Genting membership is optional and unlocks promotional offers
Dress code
Smart casual is the rule. Smart jeans and smart trainers are fine. Football shirts, muscle or vest tops and construction workwear are not permitted. Caps and other hats are turned away too, so CCTV can see faces clearly on the floor.
Games and the gaming floor
Expect classic table games — roulette, blackjack, baccarat and three-card poker — alongside a large floor of slot machines and electronic gaming terminals. The gaming area is widely cited as among the largest in the UK by floor space (around 59,000 sq ft).

Bars inside the casino
On the gaming floor you’ll find the Sports Bar and the High Line Bar & Lounge — handy for a drink between hands rather than as standalone restaurants. The Pendigo Suite event space, reached through the casino, is also 18+ with Challenge 25 whenever it is used that way.
Licensing
The casino is operated by Genting Casinos UK Limited under Gambling Commission licence number 537. You can check the public register yourself. Grand Gaming Stay is not the licensee and does not offer any form of gambling.
Playing responsibly
Gambling involves risk and no game guarantees a return. To take a break from land-based casinos in Great Britain, use SENSE self-exclusion (not GAMSTOP, which only covers online play). Our responsible gambling page has helplines and more detail.
